A Very Merry Un-Christmas to You

In today's video, I review a book by a friend of mine who, Jessica Bruder, who is an associate professor at Columbia University and is fascinated by the various counter-culture movements in the USA. She's fascinated by nomads and she didn't just want to interview us, she wanted to become one of us! So she attended the RTR and then bought a van of her own to live and travel in for the next 3 years! She doesn't write about us as an outsider, but as a genuine insider who knows the heart and soul of the nomadic life. I consider this to be one of the very best books ever written about the modern nomadic life and highly recommend it! However, be aware that it is written as a human interest story and as such, most of the emphasis is on the segment of us nomads who are doing this as a necessity. It's fair and balanced, but that segment is predominate. I think that's good, the general public needs to be made aware of how many people are being left behind by in the modern economy.

No matter how cheap your budget, you can learn something from this video about vandwelling and how to turn your car, van, caravan or RV into a surprisingly cheap and mobile, tiny house on wheels! Then you can live the life of your dreams by adopting a minimalist, simple and frugal life of travel and adventure as a gypsy, nomad, traveler or even a prepper by dropping out of the Rat Race and becoming a full-time Vandweller or RVerr, @vanlife.
